What is 2%?

The 571/2003 law says that every taxpaying citizen has a right to give 2% of his taxes to the community, aiding this way the local nonprofit, nongovernmental organizations.

What do I have to do?

We ask you to support our programs. You can download the 200 and 230 forms from the web site of the Ministry of Finance or by clicking here, or you can find this form at the head office of the organization you want to give that 2% to. You have to print the form and fill it out with your personal details. You can leave the blank next to the 2% empty; the authorities will assist you with that, or fill it out themselves.

The declaration has to be sent in by post to the public administration to which you belong to or you can hand it personally. The deadline is May 2010!
